Redmi has implemented the Fire OS operating system on its first non-Android
TV-powered television, aiming to provide an affordable smart TV option that
works seamlessly within the Amazon and Alexa streaming and smart home
ecosystem.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 is exclusively available in a 32-inch HD
(1366×768-pixel) size and resolution, priced at Rs. 13,999, and will go on
sale on March 21, 2023, on Amazon and the Mi online store. The television is
powered by Fire OS 7, with the same user interface as seen on Amazon’s Fire
TV streaming devices, and supports popular smart TV apps and streaming
services, including Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, and Apple TV, in addition to
Amazon’s own apps such as Prime Video and Amazon Music.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 comes with a 20W speaker system with Dolby audio
support and has Bluetooth 5 and support for dual-band Wi-Fi, as well as
AirPlay and Miracast connectivity options. The television also features two
HDMI ports, two USB ports, AV Input sockets, a 3.5mm socket, an Ethernet
port for wired Internet connectivity, and an Antenna socket. The TV has 1GB
of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

Additionally, the Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 comes with a new remote designed
for the Fire TV interface. The remote features an Alexa button, which can
activate the Alexa voice assistant on the Redmi Fire TV, enabling users to
control their connected IoT and smart home devices associated with their
Amazon account.

The remote also has dedicated buttons for playback controls, a mute button,
and hotkeys for Prime Video, Amazon Music, and Netflix.
