Apple Saket, following the successful launch of its flagship store in
Mumbai? Here are five essential facts about this new store:
Rent:
Despite being almost half the size of the
Apple BKC store, the store in Saket pays nearly the same rent. According to
CRE Matrix documents, Apple is paying Rs 40 lakh per month for its Saket
store, while it is paying Rs 42 lakh per month for its Mumbai store.
Highly Skilled Team:
The Apple Saket store has a team of 70 skilled individuals who hail
from 18 different Indian states and can communicate in over 15 Indian
languages. Half of this team comprises women, which is noteworthy.

oak tables to display its products. Like other Apple stores, it operates on
renewable energy and is carbon-neutral.
Genius Bar:
At Apple Saket, customers can book appointments at the Genius Bar to
receive technical and hardware support, ranging from device setup to
modifying subscriptions.
Indian Inspiration:
Apple
has made an effort to incorporate Indian design elements into its second
outlet. The Apple Saket store takes inspiration from Delhi’s gates, which
symbolize different periods of the city’s history.
It’s worth
mentioning that although Apple has a small share of the Indian smartphone
market, Android phones dominate it. However, the company has a stronghold on
the premium smartphone market, with 65% of smartphones priced above ₹30,000
sold in India being iPhones, according to Counterpoint data.
