VI Launches New ₹181 Data Plan for Prepaid Users

Idea (Vi) has introduced a new prepaid mobile recharge plan for its
customers, a ₹181 4G data voucher that can be purchased as an add-on to the
existing plan. The new VI ₹181 plan offers 1GB of internet data per day for
30 days.
In addition to this, Vi has previously launched two prepaid
plans with mobile data, voice calling, and SMS. The VI ₹289 plan offers
unlimited calling and 600 SMS per day, along with a total of 4GB mobile data
for a validity of 48 days. The Vi ₹429 plan comes with unlimited voice
calling data and 1000 SMSes, and offers mobile data for a validity of 78
days.
Meanwhile, Zerodha co-founder and CEO Nikhil Kamath has
highlighted India’s growing internet user base. In a recent tweet, he noted
that India’s market share in global mobile internet traffic has increased
from 2% in 2012 to 21% in 2022 over the past decade.
