Triumph Motorcycles has officially launched the highly anticipated Triumph Speed 400 in India, just a week after its global unveiling. The ex-showroom price of the Speed 400 is set at Rs 2.33 lakh. The Scrambler 400 X variant is expected to be launched in India at a later date.

1. Power and Performance:
The Triumph Speed 400 is equipped with a liquid-cooled, 398cc, single-cylinder engine known as the TR-series. It delivers an impressive power output of 40hp at 8,000rpm and a torque of 37.5Nm at 6,500rpm. This new engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The performance figures are comparable to the KTM 390 series, but the Speed 400 achieves its peak figures at lower engine speeds.

Inspired by its larger siblings in the Triumph lineup, the Speed 400 boasts a premium fit and finish despite its affordable price. 5. Warranty and Availability:
Both the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X models come with a 2-year/unlimited mileage warranty and a service interval of 16,000 km. The Speed 400 will be available for purchase from late July, while the Scrambler 400 X is expected to hit the market in October.
