Airtel’s New Family Postpaid Plan: OTT Benefits and Pricing Revealed

 India’s leading telecommunications service provider, Bharti Airtel,
has unveiled its new Postpaid Family Plan, the Rs 599 platinum postpaid
plan, with one add-on connection. The new plan offers two connections,
making the effective pricing per connection just Rs 299 per month. Compared
to Jio’s Rs 599 plan, Airtel’s offering boasts several benefits.

The
Airtel Rs 599 Postpaid Platinum plan comes with one primary and one add-on
connection at no additional charge. This means customers get two connections
for the monthly rental of Rs 599. Customers also receive 75 GB of data, with
an additional 30 GB of extra data for the add-on connection. 

This brings the total data offered on the plan to 105 GB, which is in the
Family Pool and available for both numbers to use. Additionally, the plan
includes 200 GB of data rollover, allowing unused data to be carried forward
to the following month. Once the allocated data quota is consumed, customers
can enjoy value-based charging at 2p per MB.

The Airtel Rs 599
Platinum plan provides unlimited voice benefits, including local, STD, and
national roaming, and 100 SMS per day (local, STD, and national roaming) on
both connections. Furthermore, the plan offers VIP service from Airtel and
handset protection for 12 months at no extra cost. Customers can claim the
handset protection benefit via the Airtel Thanks App.

In
addition, the Airtel Rs 599 Platinum plan provides customers with several
OTT and in-house app benefits. Customers can enjoy a six-month Amazon Prime
membership, a one-year subscription to Disney+ Hotstar mobile at no
additional cost, and bundled Xstream Mobile Pack and Wynk Premium
benefits.

Airtel’s range of postpaid family plans includes the Rs
399 plan with one add-on connection, the Rs 499 plan with two add-on
connections, and the Rs 1,599 VIP plan with three regular connections, all
with similar benefits.
