 Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy A34 5G in its
A-series lineup, hoping to continue its trend of offering the best budget
and mid-range smartphones.

The Galaxy A54 5G is a mid-range smartphone that comes with a 120Hz Super
AMOLED display, Exynos 1380 processor, and a triple rear camera setup that
features a 50MP shooter. The Galaxy A34 5G, on the other hand, is an
affordable alternative that offers a 6.6-inch 120Hz display, a 5,000mAh
battery with 25W charging, and Android 13 with OneUI 5.1. Let’s take a look

Pricing, Specs, and Availability

The Galaxy A54 5G costs $450 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model in the United States. You can
also save up to $250 with an eligible trade-in and get Galaxy Buds Live for
$50. Pre-orders open March 30, with availability set for April
6. 

The UK only seems to be getting the 8GB + 128GB model at GBP 449, whereas
Indian buyers can purchase the 8GB + 256GB model for INR 40,999. In
contrast, the Galaxy A34 5G costs GBP 349 (6GB RAM, 128GB storage) or GBP
399 (8GB RAM, 256GB storage) in the UK, while Indian buyers can get the 8GB
+ 128GB model at INR 30,999 and the 8GB + 256GB model at INR 32,999.
Unfortunately, there is no information on US pricing and availability for
the A34 5G.

The Galaxy A34 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, a 6.6-inch Super
AMOLED display, and 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB storage. It comes with a
5,000mAh battery, USB-C port, 13MP f/2.2 front camera, and a triple rear
camera setup consisting of a 48MP f/1.8 primary shooter, an 8MP f/2.2
ultrawide lens, and a 5MP f/2.4 macro lens. However, it only supports Wi-Fi
5, Bluetooth 5.3, LTE, and 5G (sub-6GHz) connectivity. The phone measures
161.3 x 78.1 x 8.2 mm, weighs 199 g, and has an IP67 rating.
